New bomber in the works? (USAF)

Hey guys I was just curious if there are any new bombers in the works. to my knowledge we currently have the B-2 spirit and B-52H in service but I couldn't find anything new? if you guys know anything id love to hear it thanks

You forgot the B-1B, but no... nothing new AFAIK for heavy bombers. It's multi-role, drones, or cruise missiles in the future.

The way our country is spending money like drunken sailors, our economy is likely to continue to get worse. Military projects have been put on the cutting block, while we spend madly on pork. Much of the military programs are secret and often much of the stuff that is publicly known is misinformation. Because of politics and money it is questionable if the projects will reach fruition, if so how many units will be produced and when.

It's questionable if we will have another manned heavy bomber. The FB-22 may be one of the last manned bombers. I fear having our forces so dependent on unmanned technology.

We already have the ability to place any bomb anywhere. What we need is a new conventional bomb. We need one that can penetrate down through miles of hardened bunkers or neutralize large land masses.
