Nice to see another pilot writing a blog. I've found that writing up my flight experiences is very rewarding and when I write up an instructional flight or even just currency/maneuvers practice I refresh the flight's events in my mind. I added your blog to my Google Reader, keep updating it!
 
I'm lucky to even remember to log my hours in my electronic logbook which takes all of 30 seconds
 
I like your blog, man. I lived the first 11 years of my life in Syracuse (Fayetteville-Manlius, to be specific).

Dan - Thanks for the subscription, I've also subscribed to your blog as well. Great stuff. Really interested to see what I have to look forward to to get my IR!

Pistol Pete - that is a great area! Although also good for you that you've moved to an area with better weather as, you probably know, Upstate NY is not famous for its flying weather!
 
Yeah keep blogging dude! I'm liking it a lot so far. Your GF's parents seem super cool that they're so eager to go fly with you too. You must cool as ice behind the controls!
