Aww, come on. Why bother wasting money on spaceflight dribble with no immediate benefits. It's much more fiscally responsible to let it slam into the Earth and kill everyone. And if a bean counter figures out it's cheaper otherwise, they can resurrect spaceflight from the museums and save the Earth any time up to about 20 minutes before impact because that's what they do on tv by attaching a readily available star trek warp drive to the thing.

Why do reporters compare a hole punching rock to a little manmade satellite that falls out of the sky? Dumbheads.
