Would there be any interest in a new 100 dollar hamburger site that's free? The current one requires you to pay and isn't the best looking website. I haven't paid so I don't know how current the information is on there, either. This post suggests that it's outdated, however.

The idea is to create a free resource for pilots to search for restaurants/cafes and then rate/review them. It'll be user driven, so it'll require input from pilots to make it work. I know of a couple airports with restaurants on the field but I wouldn't have known that unless I had landed there previously. I started working on this since I haven't really found anything that is like this that's also free. If there's interest I'll continue with it.

Maybe…

But I've found the best resource locally to be just asking KFahmi on the Red Board 'cause he's been to just about every airport in the western US. He writes a LOT of reviews for Airnav, as well.

Seems to me that's a tad limiting. If I travel somewhere, regardless if it's by car, jetliner or my plane, I will have researched the nearby food joints. Google + Yelp is a great resource.

Seems to me that if you wanted a pool of people in which to seek food opinions from, you would hang out on the weight loss boards.

I think it would be more handy to have airport fees all in one place and be over laid on a map, like fuel prices are.

This was meant for those going on $100 hamburger runs, not those traveling to an area for an extended period.

That can certainly be added. This isn't mean to be a rival to AirNav.com, though.

I hadn't seen this one before. This is a pretty cool site and looks like it does most of what I was looking for. It looks like they're trying to be a mini-AirNav.com. They could use some touch ups on their website, but functionality wise it looks pretty decent.

fly2lunch was coded by a classmate/friend of mine years ago just for fun. It relies on user input, so please add data (new restaurants, reviews etc.) when you can!
