Here's a nice little place to share all the stuff we, as nerds, might think is pretty cool. I'll start us off with this:

Excellent idea. Submission(s) en route after sufficient caffeine.

Hello nerd-aholics, my name is steve and im a huge nerd

Let's see here.. I have a lab in my house with a 2 node vSphere cluster, iSCSI storage, and VDI for my kids to have filtered internet access that is impervious to virii, and stupid user tricks. My guest wifi network requires you to put your cell number in to get a text with the passcode. The codes are one-time use, and are issued by the system. my guest wifi is also throttled down to t-1 speed, and filters most streaming services.

Care to share how the wifi passcode system is setup? I've been trying to kludge together a solution to share my wifi with anyone who wants it, but not on just an open connection. Being able to log access codes and valid cell numbers might give me some recourse in the case of illegal activity on the line. (Bonus points if I can run the entire process off of one of my Raspberry Pis.)

Marty,

I am using some of the cloud managed APs from Meraki. I got them as a spiff from an engineering conference.. however, http://www.hotspotsystem.com/ integrates with coova. If you work in tech, meraki gives away a free AP for attending their webinars.. PM me for more info about them.

I don't even know what language you are speaking!

More cow bell!!!

...and by cow bell I mean pictures and videos. If I can't see it then it doesn't exist!

I assume there was supposed to be a photo attached?

I did 37 years at the IBM TJ Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY doing physics and computer science. You wouldn't believe the things I've had (and still have) installed in my basement and running throughout my house.
Example: I have 2 pair of fiber optic cables installed to every room in the house, and the hardware to drive it. All my machines and servers have custom fiber Ethernet cards. I think I have enough bandwidth in the house to support the entire East coast.
When I left I had to sign a non-compete that keeps me out of the business for about 2,000 years. But I do get to go back and borrow toys when I want.
:D

Perfectly in time with the gif. Wonderful

He does a lot of other songs, from all kinds of genres! My favorite is between this one and He's a Pirate (the pirates of the carribean theme)
