I guess I should get going on getting the plane fixed. The hole in the panel is kinda annoying.

Think this will cover it?

Where'd the lid go? That'd probably cover it...:D

I still use ADF and you can get them for next to nothing. There is also a list of all the AM radio stations and their locations available online.
:)

I'd been thinking on replacing the ADF in my airplane, since they are indeed cheap and the aircraft is already wired for one. Then I started learning about ADF approaches during my IFR training. I think I'll put in an "inoperative" sticker on that and leave it be.

I don't use it for approaches. I find the AM radio station closest to where I want to go, set it and follow the arrow. It just seems right, when you are flying low and slow.

I prefer laying floor tile that way most of the time, too. It takes just a little more effort but looks a little different from the norm.

It's a countertop on a built in kitchen island, unless you're talking about the tan stuff to the left, but we do like the look. It's a bit 80's-ish with the "forest green" but we don't care. It holds stuff, as a countertop should do.

Wow. Talk about thread shift, DME to kitchen remodeling in 8 posts. How about selling the vehicle those keys fit to finance your new DME/GPS

Certified aircraft. IFR. Vehicle wouldn't be worth enough to cover it. LOL. :)
