I need a neurologist who can input the info or confer with the FAA about my MS diagnosis - I've searched internet and don't seem to be able to find one (plenty of Neuro-Psych but not just neurology). My MS doctor and I don't seem to be hitting the correct info. FAA just keeps denying and sending the same paragraph back (for a year now) and attaching the same sheet to follow. I sent all the disk pictures, etc they asked for. She rewrote the input. I've called regional and OK - the admin folks have no clue, therefore going to try to get Neuro guy who speaks FAA. Basic info, I was diagnosed with MS at 62 - did no meds and went for second opinion. Second scan showed lesions had shrunk so Dr decided to wait and see. End point - I have never ended up on any medication, my lesions have shrunk over time (6 years now), I do an MRI once a year (or a bit more) just to "ensure". My only residual is slight tingling, asleep feeling in my right hand right three fingers and sometimes my right foot little toe area. I do no other meds, run on nice days (not way motivated), situps, pushups, hike, etc. The neuro-psych part is already done. So, if anyone knows of a neuro/FAA person near middle TN (or long drive) that speaks FAA would love a reference. Thanks.

Anthony Ison of the pilotlawyer is what you seek.

He’ll know who to use and who’s with the program

A lawyer can't help you with a medical problem. Anthony is not an MD (but he's sharp!)....
Message me through the link in my sig. line....

He doesn’t have a medical problem, he has a administrative problem.

The FAA “medical” is much more administrative than it is evidence based medicine, I would wager you know this

I would advise the OP to read the reviews of whatever HIMS AME someone might recommend and compare to Anthony /the pilot lawyer

I'd contact Dr. Bruce as per post #4
