Neal Young's new album

[timwinters]

Absolutely SUCKS!

(and I love Neal Young)

That is all.

Neil.

But thanks for the warning.

He’s often been brilliant, but often less so as well.

And if I need to validate my Neil Young fanbois status:

A birthday gift from my daughter, hanging in our RV. Allegedly made from a real album cover.

[timwinters]

Neil.

Yeah, I was wondering about that, but sitting here sipping my first cup of coffee was too lazy to look it up.

I have every Neil Young album. There aren't enough drugs in the universe to make this one sound good.

Too bad. I'm a huge fan of most of his stuff and I love his guitar style. Sloppy but soulful. Great artist with a better name, especially when spelled correctly

Yeah, ‘Young’ is a better last name than ‘W2.’ You must get a lot of questions at tax time, unless you’re also Canadian, ay?

[FastEddieB]

My absolute favorite, showcasing his lyrical talents:

Allegedly about his breakup with Crosby, Stills and Nash.

Hahaha

Jeeze I,never noticed that. W is the first letter of my last name and just neilw I believe was taken when I signed up. Pretty awesome alliteration though.

But no I'm not Neal the Jewish tax accountant I'm Neil the Irish pharmacist

Guess I’ll stick with Marty Stuart as my Tom Petty replacement.

Other than Newfoundland, it's "eh".

[FastEddieB]

Are we talking about “Hitchhiker?”

[Half Fast]

I hope Neil Young will remember, a southern man don't need him around anyhow.

[Lachlan]

Other than Newfoundland, it's "eh".

You spell hay “heh?” What about Mayday? I can just hear it now: “Mehdeh, mehdeh... we’re a coupla hose heads from Canadeh, eh? We’re lost and outta old hockey videos up here in the soup. Can anybody read us, eh? We could use some vectors to find our weh. Over, eh?”

Tower, somewhere on the ground, shrouded in darkness and light snow, low fog creeping in... <radio transmission>“Unidentified aircraft that keeps saying ‘ehh’ stay out of our airspace and stand by...” (To coworkers in the cab) “You guys know what he’s trying to say?” {other controllers} “Heh, heh, heh.”

(First controller) “Can you guys say again? Not sure if you’re laughing or pretending to be Fat Albert.”

[timwinters]

Are we talking about “Hitchhiker?”

No, "the visitor," which will be released on December 1st. You can listen to all the songs online though. I listened to as much as I could stand of each one last night. I found them to be way over produced with very uninspired simplistic trite lyrics.
