After 5 years of study NASA releases this video of the sun. Pretty amazing stuff. For all of the talk about man made global warming all the sun has to do is burp and we are a flaming marshmellow hurtling through space.

Thanks for posting that Geico. The Sun is amazing and it is hard to comprehend how big it is and how much power is there. Plus how deadly it could be to us some day.

I look at all that energy and am still amazed that we struggle to keep a flashlight lit with dying batteries. Shows me how much we do not know.

It amazes me how little we even know about the sun, and how we are just starting to study it. Most if not all of the alarmists reports about MMGW don't have a factor of the suns energy variations at all. If the sun farts we are all dead.

Funny how people will argue all day long against CO2 emissions causing problems but never actually look at the source of heat for ALL of earth. Without the sun there is no heat or life on earth.

Don't make up "facts."

Milankovic cycles were the first target for observed climate change, more than 30 years ago. It's an obvious first guess. Except they are not consistent with the data.

It's relatively simple to try to correlate temperature measurements with the 11 year sunspot cycle, plus a bunch of longer cycles. There is no significant correlation, even for the 15000 year cycle.

Sorry. Try again.
