Does anyone know how to tell if a MK12E is a 14 volt or 28 volt by it's S/N?

MK12D and MK12D/R are a Narco NAV/COM normally 12v. Not sure about MK12E????

I know that in the MK12D Maintenance Manual it lists the four chassis level configurations (14 Volt with and without GS, 24 Volt with and without GS) the starting S/N for each

I have a MK-12E in my Cessna 152 and it is 28 volt NAV/COM. The Narco was a direct replacement for my Cessna RT-385A NAV/COM. It came with an adapter tray that fits into the Cessna tray. It uses the Cessna NAV head and G/S.

The 12Es are either 14 or 28 volts. I had a 12E and NCS-812 (essentially the same but had DME included) but removed the 12E in favor of a Garmin 430. I don't have the manuals any more.

Was yours a 12 volt?
