I have an old narco mk12D. It is currently connected to a vor/loc cdi narco 824. I would like to get a narco 825 that has glideslope. Will my current connector work?

depends....some Mk12 were built as slide in replacements for original cessna and pipers that came with ARC 300 series radios....these have the round pin connector tray.

Standard narco tray and radio used a flat connector on radio that slid in a slot on tray. only the MK12 with GS had this configuration. so, if your radio and tray have this, you could use the same tray but need to add GA antenna coax connector to antenna....

if you have round pin you could find a glide slope receiver made by ARC that came in the older Cessnas. and connected to the navcom radios. problem with the Norco radios are the displays once they go out. it is difficult to impossible to find a replacement. they do not make the display and have not made it for some time, and it's an old design that uses a radioactive element so it's expensive and the company that made them stop making them quite some time ago. The radios are almost useless and worthless without an operating screen. I wouldn't recommend installing a new narco radio unless you had all the parts because replacing it when the screen goes is going to be a problem, and it will go eventually.
I have a couple of narco radios some with the glide slope. I have a couple of Norco radios as spares but one needs a display. I fly to China and Asia with my airline job and contemplating taking one of the displays over there and seeing if someone can knock it off because these radios work well and there's plenty of them out there, but are considered obsolete and irrelevant because there's no screen replacements ....

I’ll have to check. Right now it works great as a second comm and localizer. I just wished I had backup ILS. Only issue I have right now is comm resets to guard channel and nav resets on power cycle.

there's likely a small battery to maintain memory .. I have a service manual somewhere, but ask the question here...likely a quick fix.
