NA: Wage-payers (sp. 941 filers)

I cannot believe that yet again in 2016, the average small business owner cannot file their 941 electronically (that is what I just read from irs.gov - would love to hear different).
There are millions of small biz, wage-payers in this country - and we all either have to hire someone to file it, or File By Paper! Insanity.

Can someone with an IRS 'in' point out to them that the systems they use for other electronic transactions with their customers can also be used for 941, 940s please??

I use quickbooks + intuit payroll and eFile.

True, I pay for it, but it is damn convenient. It isn't like I hired an accountant to do it.

It keep Intuit and accounts that offer payroll services in business.
