I have family living in range of Popo and they have been sending me similar videos since Monday. They are covered in ash, and are using the paint respirators I sent a few years ago. This happens periodically, it's like LA - they are waiting for the Big One.

I hiked the two adjacent volcanoes, Malinche and Izta a few years ago because they'd closed Popo due to spewing. Such beauty.
