[NA] Text correction; new IOS

With my last update, correcting text in any app has become very difficult.
Instead of ‘holding finger down’ and a cursor appearing, the entire word is highlighted. So you have to retype the word instead of inserting a missed letter or correcting one letter.

touch said word and hold down the space bar at bottom of type screen it’s magical how u move the cursor....

Sure it's unintuitive, but at least it requires two hands.

holding the space bar down until the ghost keyboard pops up, then swirling finger around on that icon moves the cursor around in the offending text ... until it freakin' decides to start selecting text and then the next tap/touch/slip or twitch deletes the inadvertently selected block of text. Sometimes the "shake vigorously" action will give you the "undo typing" option, sometimes not ...

Thanks for the tip.
I can hold the space bar and glide the 'correction cursor' with the same finger.
Only one hand/finger required.
I like it; it's an improvement.

Here’s another;
I used to be able to press the screen a half second and a Select All option would appear, but no longer.
For eg, I tried it on this text as I’m typing.
It offers Cut, Copy, Bold/Underline.
No ”Select All“.
