I cannot broadcast, but I can receive.
Following their troubleshooting guide, when I check my mic, I get a popup msg; "Sndvol32.exe not installed"
Any ideas where to acquire?

i had this problem initially because of a little switch on my headset that was turned off. i suspect you have bigger problems though dave. those pilotcast guys should be able to fix it, they're technowizards.

hmmmm I figured I had to shout at the laptop somewhere! Glad no one was watching!

well you either need a headset or a microphone/speaker. the one i got is a logitech from the skype store, through pilotcast.com
