Friend has a mac and it won't receive email.
I don't have a clue about the brand or their mail settings.
Is there a troubleshooting guide??
MacBookPro.
Anyone up to a walk-through?

1. what email program is your friend using? A specific email program (thunderbird, for example) or web browser to handle email (gmail, etc) or
Apple Mail?

2. who is the ISP? Cable v. DSL can mean different approaches to email.
