Technically if they're Apple approved they'll have "MFI' certification and it'll be printed on the packaging.
In practice it doesn't matter much other than the connectors used by the non-certified cables can be fatter/thicker and may not work work some cases, etc.
I second the Ajmer recommendation. Amazon Basics are also fairly reliable.
Lightning cables are one area that you don't want to cheap out on. There are actually a little computer circuits in them and if they fail that can damage a device.
We actually own 4 Anker 4-outlet smart USB car chargers - one for each car and one for our travel trailer. Great little devices that can allegedly sense how many amps your device requires and charge accordingly.
