ate their any giid apps that watch things more closely than the silly battery indicator?
Current battery voltage, discharge rate would seem like basic & easy things to report.

Apple changed their internals in iOS to make it difficult to create battery apps that have any real data, sometime around when they got caught lying about battery life in their devices via the OS to keep them from exploding or something. I forget. Typical Apple shadiness is all I remember about it. Been a while. iPhone 6/7 days I think? Same time Samsung’s stuff was self-torching. Ha.

Anyway...

There’s apparently a couple of tools I haven’t used nor heard of that can access more detailed data if the phone is plugged into a desktop machine, Mac or PC, but apps on the phone can’t really get the detailed data anymore.

They kinda make up for this with their little graphs in the Battery section of the Settings, as well as the Battery Health area that tells you how well the battery is doing since new.
