[NA]Google or Amazon search tips[NA]

Sometimes when I am online shopping I check these two places. (for Google I select the Shopping tab)
I must be doing something wrong because on either, when I type in what I want, it gathers anything remotely related to my search term (I usually try to put in a PN or MN only, keeping it simple). So I am looking at page after page of accessories or similar items But Not The Item I Need.

Ebay is heads and shoulders above with their search tool AND they have the Exclude feature (by entering -widget you will see nothing with widget in their results.

So is it me or their search tools?

I like using Images when I search. I usually find what I need by sight, then can delve further from there.

Not me. If I know what I’m looking for, especially with part/model #, it always comes up first but then they throw in similar stuff and also ad supported stuff. But no, I don’t seem to have this issue.
