[NA] Door to door roof replacement sales

It took me 6 months to get 3 quotes to resurface the roof on my place of business. It will probably take another 6 months to get one of the quotes approved. Then another 3-5 months before the work gets done.

I second the notion that a reputable company does not need to go door to door. Who has time for that?
 
Last year, I got a quote in about 2 days, from a company with a great reputation. It was for two different and connecting roof types, flat for the garage, and standard shingles for the house. He said he had no idea how long it was going to be to get material for the flat rubber roof, because commercial roofing materials were scarce. It took 4 months to get the materials, and one day for their team to put up both of them. Good roofers don't have to knock on doors anywhere I've ever been.
