What's the problem? The Federal Reserve prints billions of dollars every day out of thin air and everybody accepts the counterfeit bills.

The biggest counterfeiting of US bills for years was done by other nations/states. Look up North Korean "Superdollars"
These very high-quality fake bills were one of the biggest justifications for the new $100 bill introduced in 2013 featuring the 3d ribbon, new color-changing ink, and microprinting.
