Take a look at this attachment... The slope of the plots is just scary, indicating the inevitability of the mental decline for all of us....

Looking at the bottom set of plots, I wish I knew if retired people performed more poorly than working stiffs because, at retirement, the brain looses function (just like the body gets flabby without exercise), or conversely if it means that people were retired because they could no longer effectively do the tasks required to succeed at work....
