What do small companies us for shared calendars? Company size less then 30.
We need a few shared calendars employee time off , important reminders for key employees , and Conference room schedule.
I said to set up exchange server since we all use outlook. I am till that is old school much better cloud based systems, but no one really knew what they were.

Edit( Why cant I delete this? Can someone move It to the technical forum please)

Office 365 Business Essentials (BE) or Business Premium (BP). BE will require you to have Outlook 2007 (reduced functionality), 2010 or 2013 to use the Exchange portion of the plan. BP will have everything you require (Office 2013). There are only a few specific reasons to run on-premise Exchange for small businesses; don't be scared of the "Cloud" in this instance.

If you don't have the budget for Office 365 then Google Apps is your best bet. But you'll have to ditch Outlook and use Gmail as your primary interface. May be an issue if your co-workers are anything like mine.
