These photos show the roller bearing wheels at the bottom of a set of shower doors. Note that the rim is grooved to run along a track.

The shower doors were manufactured by P. Ketcham, evidently a big name in shower doors in years past. The company is out of business, and its name has been sold to a new company. The name only was sold, the new company does not make shower doors with the wheels at the bottom and they bought no inventory from the former company.

Although I am certain that this company did not manufacture the wheels, there are no names or numbers on the wheels.

On the internet, I can find wheels like this that have a flat "tread" surface, and others that are convex shaped to run in grooves, but none with the "U" shaped tread.

Does anyone know of a source for these Unobtanium wheels?

Local hardware store - that kind of thing is commonly used in sliding screen doors.

I've never seen one this small with a roller bearing in the local hardware store. As you can see, it is about 7/8" dia. and it carries a lot of weight.

I did a search for roller v bearings on google looking for something for a Cirrus, came up with a lot of stuff that might help you

I have found difficult-to-find hardware using Google image search. Sometimes it takes patience to reword the search multiple times and look through lots of pics. Also now you can upload an image to Google search. Try that.

For example:

Those wheels look identical to the ones on my Kohler/Sterling door. Believe me, that Home Depot does have them in their hardware section along with all sorts of other door parts.

Bishop Wisecarver (aka BWC) has a line of composite dual-Vee wheels designed for aluminum track. Might work....
