Think Seth Wescott; think Bode Miller. This has been/is their home turf, Carrabassett Valley (Academy). I hadn't been there for 25 years but with recently updated equipment I, for sure, am hooked. Four hours on "Easier" and "Intermediate" slopes and not once "on me arse." We wanted to eat at Seth's restaurant but with a two hour drive to home we opted out.

HR (66 and crazy again, but not crazy enough to join those "idjits" way up at the top, near the radio towers. They have a long way down those upper trails).
