FB is a mess (especially w/ the politics now) but the Flying friends group is pretty cool.
That group just churns airplane porn all day long.

On the plus side, you can delete (remove form view) all the political articles people have shared, and the algorithm learns you don't want to see them. You can also limit what the public sees, unlike here, where the forum is not hidden and is very searchable.

Key to FB is turning off all notifications as soon as you start, then just go there whenever you want to seek something or someone out. You can't be bothered if you don't open it.
