N12 Lakewood NJ to Toronto ?

So flying into Canadian airspace may be too much for right now.. But what would be the closest best option to fly and land in the U.S. and be able to maybe rent a car be relatively close to Toronto? Thanks for any advice.
 
KIAG, no doubt. Do the Falls tour (ref. A/FD) while you're at it.
 
If canada is a similar process to the bahamas, you can handle it with a little training beforehand. I was also interested in flying into toronto later this summer. Visiting friends in buffalo and thought it would be fun to cross the border.
