I have heard this song several times and can't remember the title and the group.

I only remember Rush making fun of Al Sharpton.

Can someone help me out?

Gosh, it has been a long time since I've heard that.

"Mama Told Me" by Three Dog Night, of course. I can vaguely recall seeing them play that song and others on Midnight Special, hosted by Wolfman Jack.

Anyone who recalls any of the three names I just mentioned is nearly qualified to draw on social security.

That was actually Three Dog Night. Blood, Sweat &Tears is another name I've not heard of in a long time. I've never heard of High Wire.

Close but not the one I was looking for. My son will be flying in this Friday and I'll ask him. I am pretty certain it is 3 Dog Night.

Thanks though, I thoroughly enjoy music. My folks split when I was 11 and the radio was my companion for a large part of my life.
