I know some of you folks ride, so I thought I might post a link to the pics I took at the Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiasts little get together this past Sunday. Pete and I and a couple friends took the ferry to Vashon Island, camped out and spend the morning drooling over vintage (and modern!) machines.

Ahhh...so many bikes, so little money............

Nice! I used to own a honda 150 twin like the white one in pic 22, and now own a 1970 CB750 like in pic 35!
'New' bikes (after about 1985) just have no character to them!!

Thanks, Dee. Once I got started I couldn't stop until viewing the whole album. #36 really caught my eye. It was my first big bike. OK, so it was only the Harley-Davidson Aermacchi-built "Sprint" 250cc; but after being wiened on a succession of H-D 125cc and 165cc it was a big deal for a teenager to upgrade from 7.5ci to 15ci(and be able to make it up long hills -- with a lady on the back -- without going through all the gears). Later came my Sportsters, a full -dress HOG, and now back to a Sportster.
