I traded in a Honda CBR250R I was using for commuting for a Honda NC700X. I was looking for something a bit more comfortable, but that still gets over 60MPG, after riding it home I'm very happy with the purchase so far:

Congrats. I even considered getting a Honda NC700X after a 30 year hiatus from riding. It looks like it will be both fun and practical. I recently bought a Harley Super Glide since the dealership is nearby and a cruiser will fit my current riding style. Be careful. It seems that the 4 wheeled vehicles are even more out to get us than before.

NICE!

Is that the one with the dual clutch auto transmission?

Nice ride. I can't let myself buy a sportbike ... I'd kill myself inside of a month because I'd be the guy going 100 mph regardless of traffic. A cruiser suits me just fine and I'm actually looking at picking up a Victory to supplement my V-Star 1100.

The one I purchased has a normal 6 speed transmission, but the DCT is supposed to be a pretty nice setup, I've never tried it out personally though.

Pretty bike. Don't leave it uncovered or somebody will put a Cowboys sticker on it. :D

That looks like a fun little bike! It will be a blast. enjoy!

I've heard really good things about the 700cc powerplant, and its made its way into a few bikes. Haven't run an in-line twin since the eighties, though the one I ran was a Honda and ran like a watch. Good luck, bike looks sweet.

Congrats and enjoy the ride! I still commute by moto at least 3 days a week, love it!

I survived about four motor cycles but now I am getting old enough that I do not heal as well as i once did so motor cycles are in my past.

My first bike was 175 cc Kawasaki dirt/street legal bike. Then I got a 354/ 454 which was a 450 cc with 4 cylinders and smooth riding street bike by Honda in the 70-80's. I got two of them so my friend could go riding with me. Then I got a 750 Kawasaki pure speed.

Enjoy!

I had one of those too. Threw newspapers then hit the trails. It was a great motorcycle. I think it had a rotary valve which made a cool sound. It was surprisingly powerful for a small displacement bike.
