Mystery Wings - Can anyone tell me what they are? I cannot determine their value, because I can't identify what airline they respresent or anything else about these. Thanks.

My first thought was Eastern, but doesn't quite look right for that.

Not Eastern, Eastern wings sweep the other way and are straight lines rather than curved:

I know that logo. That is the logo and wings from Wings Airways which flew out of Wings Field in Blue Bell PA. Wings was a commuter airline that flew from the Western Philadelphia suburbs to KPHL and other semi local destinations. The airline ceases operations in the 1990s. The flew Norman Tri Islanders.

Could it be a variation of Trans Canada Aviation? Notice the shape of the Bird and beak...

Adam,

I believe you are correct. It makes sense because I received these wings from a pilot who had lived in PA. You solved the mystery! Thanks so much. I really appreciate it. What an awesome message board.

Excellent memory! I knew those looked familiar, but couldn't put my finger on it!! Loved that service, was sorry to see it go.

On a related note, can anyone tell me where to buy wings?

I wanted to get something for the little Young Eagles but didn't have enough time.

Pins are the kind I like, no stick ons.

Sporty's has some. You can get some military ones from Wings Aviation.

Figured that might be a bit much... though 50 of them (looks like they're $1.95 each at that quantity) would last you a few years' worth of YE flights. Or you could see if the other YE pilots wanted to chip in and divide up an order.

I'd pass on the Mile High wings for YE flights, though. :hairraise:

If I had $100 I'd go flying for an hour, not buy wings for YE. Sorry. As pilots we are giving our time and plane.
