Mystery Aircraft Quiz #31

That looks like Lopresti in the right seat.

Is that a Culver Cadet designed by Al Mooney?

You are correct that Al Mooney designed the Culver Cadet, and this airplane is based on that design. But the airplane in the photo was an updated version of the Cadet, and was marketed in the mid-1960's under a completely different name.

The Cadet had retractable tailwheel landing gear (link to photo). During WW2 Culver produced thousands of radio-controlled drone aircraft that were basically Cadets with fixed, tricycle landing gear. The airplane in the photo was built for the civilian market, essentially a Cadet with the landing gear of the PQ-8 drone, and a 90-hp Continental engine. Ten of these remain on the FAA register. What was it called?

A Helton Lark 95.

The sliding canopy confused me for a while, but I found a reference to it in my Jane's. Thanks for the hints.
