Ok, so I decided to browse airplane ads a little differently this evening. I browsed all single engine listings from lowest price to highest and tried to find the cheapest plane that would realistically meet my needs. I'm open to M20's F and newer, C180s C182s, Piper Arrows, Bonanzas, etc.
Goal was to find something that's not run out, IFR certified, has at least a 430 and an AP. Well I ended up getting a bit higher in price than I was hoping, but here's what I found.

This does also have a nice HSI and a fairly low time engine. Today this is the cheapest plane that I feel like would meet my mission for the next 5 years.
I'd be interested to see what some other airplane lusters find with your own personal criteria.
