I just purchased this headset for my flight training. Once I get my certificate, I will update if need be.

They had wonderful reviews and the price was 160.00. It will get me through my training.

I have 50 hours on mine. No problems at all.

I have a pair of Kores that I've purchased for passengers. I've been really impressed with them. If you bought them off Amazon I was one of those good reviews....

Good choice for starting out, once you decide flying is for you,you can move up to an expensive noise canceling headset. Good luck with your training.

I bought a set of these for pax but my wife chooses them over her DC ANRs. I also gave a high rating on Amazon. Very comfortable and gel seals provide solid PNR.

I did buy them from Amazon and the reviews were what sold them (and the price...)

I was training with my CFI last night and told him what I bought. The ones I use now are for all students who do not own a pair. Let’s just say their not so clean. It will be nice to have my own.

Thanks guys!

Looks very similar to my ASA.
Yup. I’ve used the ASA brand and for head clamps, they’re not a bad pair at all. Especially for the money.

Then again, I’ll use whatever I can use. :)

hey, I just bought a pair of these on Amazon for my pax. Can't wait to try them out this Sunday.
Lol, funny that what sold me on these was the good reviews from you guys! (and the price too;)

There were some that were less expensive on Amazon. However, the more I read the reviews, the less I wanted them. I don’t need a inexpensive headset where the microphone quits working after 20 hours. Some of the headset reviews read that the user had to scream at ATC to be heard. Either it was anheated Exchange between pilot and ATC or a broken mic, but I passed.

I just bought a pair of these on Amazon

The reviews on these were real good. Let us know how you like them!

Used my new headset tonight for the first time. The independent volume control works great, the gels are extremely comfortable, and the feedback is crystal clear.

Very nice! Hope you get a lot of use out of them.

Btw. It takes a very special person to do your job, so I give you a lot of credit.

Cheers

Ryan, I appreciate the kind words on my career. It can be tough and challenging at times; fulfilling and meaningful all the time.

I also appreciate you and all the other helpful pilots on POA as well. It’s like having 40 CFI’s at my fingertip. :)

Looks like a fine pair of headphones. I will argue that ANY headphones that are exclusively yours are better than anything else that’s shared. I got REALLY sick once, and I’m convinced someone was coughing onto the microphone on a pair of school headphones. I bought my own to avoid that trail of germs. Ick!
