He passed and I'm pleased. But I feel a little weird. He's on his own now.... What if I didn't cover everything enough, what if he runs into difficulty and needs me ....

Well, I imagine he will call. He intends to start on his instrument pretty quick so I'm sure we'll be in touch. Also, he will be renting my little plane so I will be able to watch over him some....

Anyway, just thought I'd share. It's a first. I expect after the next couple of completions I might not feel quite so "mom like"

Congratulations Jeanie!! That's great and you're batting 1000 :D

Well, I imagine he will call.

I did that to my instructor. On my first flight as a pilot (and my first flight with a passenger), we flew into the airport, parked, grabbed lunch, and walked back out. Got everything ready, cranked the engine, it caught, and then stopped. Nada. Nothing. Called my instructor and got everything worked out, but those things happen!

Congratulations Jeanie!! That's great and you're batting 1000 :D

Well, technically it's 1.000 :)

Congratulations, Jeanie! You're ALWAYS going to have that little fear in the pit of your stomach. LOL!
