Final Approach
Someone asked how I was charging devices in a plane with no electrical system:
I actually have 2 batteries prepared.
#1. Sky Lipo - 4400mah, 3 cell, 11.1 vdc
#2. Zippy - 4000mah, 4 cell, 14.8 vdc
I added a cigarette lighter adapter with leads that connect to either battery, and I have a couple of different adapters to plug into the cigarette adapter, specifically one for the radio, and a standard USB charger with 2- 2amp plugs for pretty much everything else.
The most important piece is a LIPO smart charger at the house to charge the batteries before flying. This is critical, as you have to use a charger designed for LIPOs or you risk a fire.
