My 9-11 flight

This was my flight as a flight medic yesterday for 2.5 hours. We flew this flag over four 9-11 ceremonies and when we were in between fly-overs we flew up and down the beach and several highways. It was an honor to be part of this mission. To see everyone waving, saluting and placing their hands over their hearts was a feeling that was indescribable. You can see me in the photo. The photo was taken by my good friend Bob Pickering.

That was a special request tail number. We bought this helicopter in November 2001 and the attacks were very fresh at the time. That is how the color scheme came to be also. Thanks for reminding me about that. Sometimes I forget what that tail number means.
