I will be posting these questions to other boards in order to obtain the best compilation of opinions.
1. How many chords is person expected to know in order to participate as an instrumentalist?
2. Can they be in any key, or are some preferred over others?
3. How late do we have to stay up before the Merle Haggard set starts?
4. Will Low Places be on the play sheet?
5. Are minor musical imperfections like guitar out of tune and lack of discernaable talent considered to be disqualifying conditions?
6. Is the ability to remember lyrics considered important?
7. Is the lack of a decent voice considered a reason not to sing?
8. How much of the bottle must be consumed before politically incorrect songs are permitted?
9. If "Dueling Banjo's" can be heard in the background, will we have sufficient armed guards to prevent a repeat of the movie sequence?
10. Will "Lord it's Hard to Be Humble" be an appropriate theme song for a bunch of pilots?
Please respond at your earliest convenience. If I am to bring the Ovation, I must start tuning now.
