Looks like an A380 landed short at Munich and tore up some of the approach lighting.

The Lufthansa A380, registered D-AIML, arrived from San Francisco after an approximately 11-hour flight. During its landing on Munich's Runway 26L, the aircraft touched down short of the designated runway threshold. The early touchdown resulted in contact with runway lighting in the threshold area.

Lufthansa confirmed that the lighting installation was damaged during the landing, while the aircraft subsequently taxied to its assigned position rather than requiring an emergency evacuation.

Two incidents a few days apart at MUC...and I just booked my flights to go there in 3 weeks.

Third time's the charm.
But in seriousness, it's a good airport. I fly there quite a lot.

Same here. I stay at the Hilton onsite regularly. Have you ever gone over to their "aviation museum"? It's not much, but if you have a couple of hours to kill...
