This photograph caught my attention in today's local newspaper. Ali traveled to mountains of Arizona to prepare for fight with Norton to escape the crowds and train in thin air (elev 6400'). He set up a small training camp in a hangar at the airport.
I wonder if a big fuss was made that grant assurances were violated by non aviation use of a hangar? Hard to miss the wrecked Cessna in the background.
