Microsoft Flight Simulated 10 will be released on October 17th.

Only 15 days to go! And I'll have money by then!

Oh boy!
Now I have to go out and spend $2500+ to have a machine that will run it.
or......I could spend the bucks towards getting my IR....Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Well - I have a 1.4ghz processor, and a 256mb ATI Radion, and it runs the demo beautifully.

Some people are complaining about performance, but I certainly don't have problems with it.

hmm, I have a Dell, will that cut it? ;)

Here is what Microsoft lists as minium requirements:

* Windows XP SP2 / Windows Vista
* Processor: 1.0 Ghz
* RAM: Windows XP SP2 - 256MB, Windows Vista – 512MB
* Hard Drive: 14GB
* Video Card: 32MB DirectX 9 compatible
* Other: DX9 hardware compatibility and audio board with speakers and/or headphones
* Online/Multiplayer Requirements: 56.6 kbps or better for online play

What they DONT tell you is that you must have a DVD on board as well.
It is on TWO DVD's

That one should be a no brainer.

Always choose flying time.

I'm with you on that one Rob, I am leaving NJ in a couple of weeks for a six+/- week visit to North Carolina. I am planning on flying some with MY CFII to
do just that !!!
I will just have to rough it with MSFS 2004 for a while!

If you have built on Video prob not very well. You can always add a better video card (ATI 9600 or better. Nvidia 6600 or better). For the very best effects 3ghz+, 1gig ram+, and a DX10 video card with VISTA when they come out.
