MS Guys: How to make LiveMeeting console the default?

ARRGH!

My Google-fu (and Microsoft Office help) are failing me.

I slightly tightened up the security settings in IE to prompt me for an ActiveX control. The result was when runnign LiveMeeting I got the screen saying it could not detect the settings and asking which client to use. At some point I ended up with the Java Applet rather than the LiveMeeting Windows client. The Java applet is ugly and doesn't have capability like letting me take control of the session.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it run the console again.

I can run the Console from Start->Programs but them I have to paste int he user name, meeting id and password.

That ain't it. We're allowed to run both the Windows client and the Java applet.

I'm suspecting changing the preference is going to require going into the registry.
