I just had a "friend" request from someone named "Mr. C". I checked his user cp or whatever it's called. He has 0 posts, none. No info on this person at all. I rejected the friend request, but I'm not sure I did it right.

It looks like some sort of spam type thing. Anyone else getting this?

Also, I do not understand this "friend" thing anyway, can anyone explain what it is about. So I go ahead and accept a friend request, then what?

I don't accept any friend requests if I can't figure out who it is.

If I'm not sure, I may send them a message asking for details, but 99% if I don't know I just reject.

On another note, I haven't done anything on FB for over a year now. :)

I only open emails from people I know or that I might actually expect to hear from due to my participation in some event... I toss maybe a dozen emails a day because they are obviously just spam, or I don't know why that unknown person would be mailing me... Either way they are gone without being opened...

A trojan virus can be loaded by simply opening an email... Mama taught you to refuse candy from strangers.. Remember what mama said, fer petes sake...

It's just another user. After you posted this I looked at his profile and he was viewing the classified ad for your airplane. I've investigated and see no reason (yet) to believe that he/she is a spammer. I think they were just looking at your airplane and clicked the button.

As for the "friend" thing. Around here it doesn't do much.

He's referring to the internal PoA friend system.

I received an e-mail from him, he was just inquiring about my plane. I referred him to my friend who is handling the sale for me.

Thanks for the help.
