Woohoo! The missus and I are headed for sunny Puerta Vallarta, Mexico on Sunday! Any special spots you would recommend? We will be there for a week on Uncle Dave's fishing boat.
One person said to try "ceveche" I guess it is pickled fish with spices, onions and stuff. Sounded good.
We are flying United via Denver. Only $355 round trip with Cheap Tickets dot com. Sounds like it is good that we booked in advance. My brother in Phoenix waited for a good deal that never showed up. Now he is paying a lot more than we did.

Never been but I hear the seafood is great.

Say Hey to Uncle Dave.

I can remember going to the place where they filmed "Predator" which now a tourist attraction. There is also the place where they filmed "Night of the Iguana" which is on the way to the "Predator" site. There's the old town of Puerto Vallarta which is pretty historic and then there's the new development, Nueva Vallarta about 10 miles away. What I remember most about Puerto Vallarta is sitting with my flying buddy through a loooong time share presentation in order to get some free stuff and him actually buying a share at the end. :yikes:

Thanks, Joe. Your flight over LA was a great thrill. He speaks of it fondly, as do I. We hope to see whales, if they haven't moved north yet.
