MP Sensor Sticking

My G3X Touch appears to have a sluggish sensor. It likes to sit at 24.7 after reducing throttle below that. I’ve had sticking round MP instruments but was caught by surprise by this one. $90 for a new sensor so not the end of the world. Has anyone else had a glass panel MP sensor fail? I’ve never heard any mention of it.

Which way is the sensor mounted? Has fuel or oil residue filled the line?

The sensor is mounted vertically in an AN tee fitting that also provides MP to the mags. I’ll pull the feed line tonight but doubt there’s liquid in it. The symptoms point to a sticky sensor. I think.
