Zemekis has a very, very good track record, and even has a good record in aviation (witness the airplane crash in Castaway). And yes, the cast seems especially strong.

Saw the trailer for "Flight" in the theatre today when we went to see "Savages". Flight looks like a really good flick and from what I heard it is getting Oscar buzz already, probably due to the actors and director. One question though: in the trailer it looks like an MD-80/90 AND it has winglets. I haven't ever seen one of these with winglets before- is there an STC for this or is Hollywood making it up?
