Some cloud formations us flat landers are not likely to see.

I read about lenticular clouds during ground school, and there was one example photos. But this is a much more interesting view.

I read about lenticular clouds during ground school, and there was one example photos. But this is a much more interesting view.

And unusual, too. Typically it's more like a cap at the top of the mountain.

Note the additional lennies off to the right. These are downwind of Mt. St. Helens, ~75 miles away.
