Mooney Gangnam Style

[MSPAviator]

Hey, did anybody else notice the plane in Gangnam Style was a Mooney M20?

[AggieMike88]

Catchy tune.

I need to teach that boy how to dance.

[DaytonaLynn]

I need to teach that boy how to dance.

Could you show him how to create a job.

Almost a half a billion views. Good exposure for Mooney....

Yeah except only five people on an aviation Internet message board realize it was a Mooney.

[SkyHog]

Where is the Mooney?

[Sac Arrow]

In the first three seconds. If you're like me, you have to sober up for a couple weeks before you notice those things.

(How did the Koreans get a Mooney?)

(How did the Koreans get a Mooney?)

The Koreans have a close economic relationship with China, the future of American GA. It is all connected.

[MSPAviator]

Where is the Mooney?

It's at the very very beginning of the video, towing a banner. It may be easier to spot in the North Korean version:

Watching some of the better parodies...

We now need to develop our own versions such as Piper Style, Cessna Style, Mooney Style....

Now that's funny right there. Post the link when you're done. I'll check back here tomorrow.

Watched a short documentary last night on where these Korean super pop bands come from ("K-Pop")...

Basically folks line up outside once a month for a chance to go into a "pop boot camp" sort of business, run by the largest record label, and they live there in dorms and study how to be pop stars. Usually only one opening for thousands auditioning.

Freaky, kinda.

[Rex Kramer]

That guy is apparently quite popular. Check out this vid from a concert in Korea. The crowd just seems to keep going.

Camera pans out to the crowd after about 30sec

Well, aviation themed anyway... flight attendant version...

Early in the video they're doing flight attendant moves, and only really dance (barely) around 4:35 into the video.

Hey... I tried...! LOL... definitely need some better aviation parodies of this.
