To some of the Mooney 201 owners here do you see any problem flying at 13 or 14K? I know oxygen will be needed.
 
I've crossed the Rockies in a 201 and had it up as high as 17,500. Climb performance will be minimal getting up that high, but there's no reason you can't fly at 13-14,000.

Via Rock Springs or via ABQ this will work nicely. Performance is actually pretty good unlss you're a full Gross up through 13,000.
