Monroy ADT300 or ProxAlert R5 Traffic Avoidance

Superseded by ADSB for the most part. I have the Monroy device sitting in a cabinet in my hangar now that I have ADSB in/out.

Looks like one sold on Ebay for $257 earlier this year. How about $225? I'll pay shipping. This is unit only and doesn't include an external antenna.

Googling returns some good, though several year old reviews. Seems like it was an interesting tech 5-10 years ago, but maybe superseded by ADSB?

ADSB - not until there's more coverage (I'm out west) both aircraft and towers. I still use my ZAON all the time. It picks up transponders where there's limited or no ADSB coverage (no towers). Belt & suspenders approach until 2020, I guess.

Thanks. I bought Challenged's Monroy - hope I like it. Just surprised there isn't more info on these little boxes. It's like they never really took off.
